A unique opportunity to interact with endangered spider monkeys in Playa del Carmen.
Joel and Heidi, two veterinarians based in Playa del Carmen, have taken in some twenty orphaned spider monkeys that cannot be reintroduced into their natural environment... To finance their care and feeding, they open their home to the public. This is a unique opportunity to interact with these endangered animals and learn more about their species. The visit, limited to one hour to avoid disturbing the monkeys, is reserved for a limited number of visitors each week. An intimate and respectful experience for all.
