Palapas Tulum, located in the city centre of Tulum near the main ADO station and 10 min of the Caribbean turquoise waters, consists of two places: B & B hostel with dormitory (shared bathroom) and a small house with private rooms arranged around a small tropical garden suitable for barbecues and trade between travellers and owners (French and Mexican). Breakfast, prepared in front of you by the French owner is different from the "classic" meals served by hotels, and it is a real treat. Wifi, fans, kitchen and above all very economical prices complement this atypical place and favours travellers wishing to go out of the beaten paths of the more classical hotels and especially much more expensive from the beach edge.
