NOROESTE HOUSE
Raised rectangular building where several tombs containing bones were found inside
The Casa del Noroeste - the "House of the Northwest" - is located, as its name indicates, at the northern end of what was the main street of Zama (Tulum). It is a raised rectangular building whose entrance is protected by a portico of two columns, which form three entrances. Several tombs containing bones have been found inside. The Casa del Noroeste offers an interesting view of the rest of the archaeological site. Next to it is a Plataforma Habitacional, a kind of terrace in one piece with a small staircase for access.
