TIME OF YEAR
Temple located on the cliff facing the sea, preserving in its center the remains of a small altar and the remains of sculptures.
This temple is located on the cliff facing the sea, on a semi-circular platform. It preserves in its center the remains of a small altar and vestiges of sculptures. Its shape suggests that it was dedicated to Hurakan, the God of Wind, Storm and Fire (a Mayan name that gave rise to the Spanish word "huracán" and the French word "ouragan"). From the platform you can contemplate the whole site, with a magnificent view of El Castillo and the sea behind.
