BODEGA SIGLO XVIII
A storefront like any other, without much pretension, and yet the place is worth the detour. The products on offer in this 18th-century house are of high quality, and the setting is atypical enough to be noticed: walls decorated with azulejos and old photos, a period counter, and at the back of the room, a vast green patio with white marble columns and arcades. This is where Sevillians gather, with family or friends, for lunch or dinner. Wide selection of local hams and cheeses, delicious salmorejos and fine red wines. The welcome is warm and friendly, and the menu varies according to the season; it's a shame the portions aren't bigger... Jazz Thursdays are also on the menu, except in summer.
