CASA DE LA GUITARRA
A newcomer to Seville's flamenco scene, this flamenco cultural center opened in 2012 and houses the private guitar collection of renowned guitarist José Luis Postigo. With some sixty models made by Andalusia's greatest master luthiers and once owned by great guitarists of the style or discerning aesthetes, we are presented with three centuries of the instrument's characteristic evolution, from the 19th century to the present day. Each evening, in two highlights, a sincere and passionate flamenco, mixing dance, music and song with confirmed artists of the highest calibre! Please note that places are limited, so book in advance to experience the crackling inner fire that is flamenco, an explosion of emotions punctuated by palmas (hand-clapping) and the sharp clacking of steps on stage.
