On this occasion, the Alameda Theater hosts internationally renowned artists and Andalusian groups.

Since 1997, the University of Seville organizes a jazz festival that is usually held in May and whose concerts are given in the Alameda Theater. It has hosted internationally renowned artists such as Jacky Terrasson, Dino Saluzzi but it is also a window of presentation for Andalusian groups such as Andalucia BigBand. Apart from the concerts, the festival also offers workshops and meetings between professionals and aficionados.
