Every two years Seville celebrates flamenco in all its forms, songs, dances, guitars. The Flamenco Fair is an annual event.
The Flamenco Biennial is coupled with the annual World Flamenco Fair. On this occasion, the whole city celebrates this art form in a variety of ways: dance, singing, guitar and palmas performances. These take place in a variety of venues, from theaters such as the Maestranza and Lope de Vega, to taverns and flamenco halls. Most of the world's leading flamenco artists are present, much to the delight of aficionados, and the festival has become a worldwide reference in the field.
