VEILLÉE DE SANTA ANA
Go there and contact
It is the big party of the Triana and Guadalquivir neighborhoods with a mini feria in casetas open to everyone.
La veillée (Velà, from its full name la Velà de Santiago et Santa Ana), is said to have originated with a procession in honor of Santa Ana in the 13th century. It's the great festival of the district and of the Guadalquivir, taking place between Calle Betis, for a mini feria in casetas open to all, and Calle San Jacinto, with the Plaza de l'Altozano at its epicenter. Stroll along the river, enjoy flamenco shows, taste grilled sardines overlooking the river and Seville... the party ends with a fireworks display on the Triana bridge.
