MAGDALENA CHURCH
One of the largest churches in Seville and also an architectural example of the Baroque style
One of Seville's largest churches, it is also an architectural example of the Baroque style, emblematic of the city. Its interior features murals by Lucas de Valdés and Clemente de Torres, its main altarpiece (early 18th century), second in size only to that of the cathedral, and the paintings in the side chapels: Saint Dominic in Soriano and The Miraculous Healing of Blessed Reginald of Orleans, by Francisco de Zurbarán, as well as several canvases by Juan de Valdés Leal.
