CHURCH OF SAN LORENZO
Church example of the Gothic-Mudejar style dating from the thirteenth century, built on a square of the same name
San Lorenzo church stands in the square of the same name. It is an example of the Gothic-Mudejar style dating from the 13th century. Inside, you can admire a classical ceramic altarpiece depicting the lord of the Gran Poder. The church contains many artistic treasures, including a 14th-century mural of the Virgin of Rocamadour, and the temple of Our Father Jesus of the Great Power(templo de Nuestro Padre Jesús del Gran Poder), where the faithful kneel at the feet of the prodigious statue of Jesus. Sculpted by Mesa in 1620, it is, like the Macarena, one of Seville's most venerated deities.
