Church built between 1697 and 1702 by Antonio Gil Gataon on the site of a former mosque in Seville
This church was built between 1697 and 1702 by Antonio Gil Gataón on the site of a former mosque. The main Baroque altarpiece dates from 1630 and depicts Maria Santísima de la O. It is located in the presbytery. In the chapel, you can see another altarpiece of Jesús Nazareno (The Nazarene), the work of Pedro Roldán (1685). Finally, you'll notice the three statues of San Joaquín, Santa Ana and the Virgen Niña (1670) by the same artist.
