CASA PALACIO DE LOS PINELO
A palace built in the century in the Santa Cruz district, now owned by the city of Seville.
Originally built in the 16th century for the Pinelo family, wealthy Sevillian merchants, this palace in the Santa Cruz district was later used as a priests' residence and even as a hotel (in the 19th century). Now a municipal property and home to the Reales Academias Sevillana de Buenas Letras y de Bellas Artes de Santa Isabel de Hungría, the building, its salons furnished with antiques and works of art, its Renaissance patio and garden, have been open to visitors since November 2008.
