A set of three green terraces along the banks of the river, in a very exotic atmosphere
Since 1980, these two promenades have formed a group of three terraces, laid out as green spaces along the banks of the river. At the center is the Torre del Oro. The vegetation is pleasant: palms, cacti, bougainvillea, jasmine, asparagus plants (yes, yes!), yuccas, oleanders, orange trees and also Tipuana speciosa and Lagunaria patersonii... Wrought-iron and wooden benches have been installed, as well as a work by Rolando Campos dedicated to Mozart. The plaza de Toros features a statue of Carmen the cigar-bearer. All in all, a very pleasant stroll along the banks of the Guadalquivir, in a most exotic atmosphere.
