Founded in the 15th century, this monastery is inhabited by nuns of the order of the Jeromines who make cakes and many sweets. For example, there is the Tocino de cielo (bacon from heaven): a custard made with eggs and sugar, turrón with lemon and cinnamon, quince paste(dulce de membrillo) and many jams, orange and lemon (from the monastery), but also strawberries, raspberries, apples, peaches, melons, pears, tomatoes ... And if you go there at Christmas time, you will taste gingerbread(Alfajor).
