Baroque church located near the Puerta de Sevilla, pure example of the Andalusian Baroque style, attributed to Ambrosio de Figueroa in Carmona
The baroque church of San Pedro de Carmona, located near the Puerta de Sevilla, was built in the 15th century and renovated in the 18th century. You will notice the richness of its sculptures and its decoration in general. The Sacramental Chapel, a pure example of the Andalusian Baroque style, is attributed to Ambrosio de Figueroa, while the Chapel of La Merced is the work of Francisco Ocampo. Outside stands the Giraldilla tower, designed by Francisco Acosta, which is a copy of the Giralda de Sevilla, and whose construction was completed in 1783
