VALDEHERMOSO PALACE
Palace with a Renaissance façade, the best example of this style in Ecija
Located opposite the palace of Peñaflor, the Plateresque palace of Valdehermoso has a magnificent Renaissance façade, the finest example of this style in Ecija. It is the palace of the Counts of Valdehermoso de Cárdenas y Torres Cabrera, which was built by the Marquises of Fuentes y Villaseca in the 16th century. The decoration of grotesque figures and candelabra motifs is noteworthy. Following Calle Arcipestre Aparicio, we come to the Plaza de San Juan, where we find the church of the same name, with its beautiful white Baroque tower (eighteenth century).
