PALACIO DE LOS PALMAS
Palace located in a former Dominican convent that has halls and rooms with coffered ceilings and Mudejar floors
Built between the 16th and 18th centuries, this Palacio de los Palmas is housed in a former Dominican convent. It contains a porticoed courtyard with marble columns that connects with the orange patio, where you'll find a fountain and the convent's old well. Legend has it that it is linked to a secret passageway leading to the River Genil. Now a museum, the palace features salons and rooms with coffered ceilings and 16th-century Mudejar flooring. Original furnishings and decor date from the 18thto 19th centuries.
