TENDIDO 1
Opened in 1997, it is the first restaurant to have settled in a plaza de toros, and not just any place since it is number 1. Don't expect to enter a Spanish restaurant that claims its classic bullfighting references, with posters and photos covering all the walls. If the space is very large, it has been carefully designed to offer corners and nooks and crannies for friends' tables, but also more intimate meals and even tapeo, on chairs and stools. At the head of the company, Lourdes, impressive in energy and efficiency, who wanted to make this place a referent of traditional Andalusian cuisine with the specialities of grilled meats in brasa, cod, presented in multiple forms, and assortments of Iberian and Granada sausages (morcilla, sausage, homemade chorizo, ham from Trévelez, etc.). If you want to start the meal with a little space for the rest, we recommend the excellent alcachofa confitada, candied artichoke, served with a delicious tomato sauce with a slightly sweet taste, or the salmorejo with an olive, ham and egg glaze. If you are more meat, we suggest pork solomillo with its Mozarabic sauce, or poached cod if you are more fish. Even if it already seems like a lot to you, there is no way to leave without enjoying the homemade cake, with four chocolates, which in the end can be eaten without difficulty. The wine list is quite extensive, but take the opportunity to try a small ecological wine, of local production. The service team is very friendly, do not hesitate to ask for their advice and guidance.
