CASA JUANILLO
A little out of the way on the Sacromonte, with a good terrace and a breathtaking panoramic view of the Alhambra and Generalife gardens, since 1977, this charming little address has some rather attractive culinary assets... Not only are the portions quite copious, but the dishes are prepared with care (home cooking). The sequence could go like this: refreshing roasted bell pepper salad, tasty tortilla del Sacromonte, suckling lamb chops braised (from the fireplace in winter), pisto de verdura (from market gardeners in nearby Valparaíso). Nothing exceptional, but all in a great setting with a fireplace (for winter), an authentic atmosphere and sometimes music among insiders.
