EL TRILLO RESTAURANTE
In the maze of Albaicín streets between Mirador de San Nicolás and San Juan de los Reyes, here's an address that deserves a good reputation, and rightly so. Right from the start, we appreciate the welcoming yet intimate atmosphere, whether on the garden terrace, a haven of peace, or in the pretty lounge with its open fireplace. The culinary specialties combine Andalusian products with a certain savoir-faire and, always, a concern for presentation: sautéed artichokes with ham, prawns and "palo cortado" wine, wild boar with rice and assorted mushrooms (risotto-style), cod a la plancha with beans, Iberian bacon and beet purée, and finally pork tenderloin in its jus and porcini mushroom sauce. Not to mention homemade desserts. A good wine cellar with references from the province of Granada and Spain, and attentive service round off a picture that's more than inspiring.
