In the "fine dining" category, perhaps one of the granadina capital's best-kept secrets... Tucked away in the "duck palace", this 19th-century palacio-boutique hides a fine dining experience, both in terms of cuisine (refined with fresh produce), service (attentive and well-informed) and setting: a modern gallery with a fountain opening onto a terrace in the outdoor garden. Admittedly, the prices offered by this Senzone (the name given to restaurants belonging to the luxury hotel chain Hospes) are in line with the establishment's standing, but lunch or dinner of tapas, as is the custom in Granada and throughout Andalusia, remains very affordable. But, hush! We don't want the world to know, to preserve the "exclusive" aspect. Behind the gates of this 5-star enclosed space, the ballet of spectacular sea urchin risotto, on a bed of coarse white salt, sweetbreads with seasonal mushrooms, wild mallard duck with pear or fish according to availability (such as a baked San Pedro with polenta) before finishing with a chocolate coulant with a bitter orange sauce... Perfect presentation and innovative cuisine by an author... A privilege reserved for a clientele that's either international or national (good families!).
