Situated between City Hall and the Cathedral, in a pedestrian shopping street in the heart of Alcacería, this rather simple yet well-maintained hostal will satisfy the thrifty readers of our "good and cheap" section. Close to everything, just a few meters from the very central Bib-Rambla plaza and close to the main bus stops, this old-fashioned establishment run by the devoted owner, well known for his kindness and availability, has a small lounge, a covered patio and a dozen rooms of various sizes. All are air-conditioned and heated, and all rooms (except the small singles) have TV sets, while two of them allow you to lean out onto small balconies overlooking the eastern street, which is very quiet in the evening. Free-access microwave.
