Accredited charming accommodation by Sierra Nevada Park, La Almunia del Valle is a beautiful boutique hotel credited with the "Q" of Spanish tourist quality. Located 1 km south of the Monachil pueblo, only 8 km south-east of Granada, with direct access to the Alhambra, and 18 km from the ski resort, it offers tranquility and beautiful views of hills and mountains, a luxury to enjoy an exclusive natural setting with swimming pool and garden surrounded by fruit trees (olive trees, fig trees...). The establishment, renovated on the basis of a typical mountain farm in this characteristic Granada area, has a traditional construction built in a way that respects the landscape. In all, fifteen different rooms, both in terms of size and decoration, but all held with great care and worthy of being featured prominently in decoration magazines, seven of them have private terraces. Since the early 2000s, the happy owners Patricia Merino and José Manuel Plana have been looking after their comfortable cortijo in the smallest detail, offering a warm and professional welcome for the well-being of their guests. After a welcome drink, you can enjoy a market cuisine with Mediterranean flavours and author's accents, mainly based on local products and oven-baked specialities. Hiking or horseback riding the next day on the program.

Room and bed are comfortable. You can walk to the village and to hiking area. I’ll be coming back definitely.
Die Lage der Unterkunft ist atemberaubend - ein Genuss!
The hosts were really friendly. The food (dinner and breakfast) were exceptional and the service was the best ive ever experienced in a hotel. On the last day we needed to leave a bit early. But the hotel prepared a breakfast. So we could still enjoy their (did i already say: amazing) food.
Cant recommend this hotel enough.
Oh and the animals around this hotel were so cute ????
