PALACIO DE LOS PATOS * * * * *
Star Palace of forty-two rooms well equipped with contemporary comforts and a relaxation area in Granada
Set in a 19th-century palace in the heart of commercial Granada, this unit of the Hospes luxury chain successfully combines an early neo-classical decor with a more modern feel. Behind a grandiose, refined alabaster latticework, depth of field and transparent volumes reveal the nobility of large spaces. Inaugurated in 2005, the Palacio de los Patos, with its well-deserved 5-star rating, boasts forty-two rooms (standard, superior, deluxe, junior suite, suite...) in the historic building or in a more recent addition, all meticulously decorated and equipped with contemporary comforts. Wooden floors, stucco, mosaics, marble bathrooms (with shower or bathtub)... In addition to a reception worthy of the name, the Bodyna Spa & Wellness, a relaxation area, Los Patos, a restaurant serving cuisine based on the quality of regional products, and the Arabesque garden with fountains and a hundred-year-old pomegranate tree, add to the plus points of this establishment. The only Achilles' heel to be pointed out is the fact that some of the mezzanine rooms are not very bright and are noisy in the morning (as they are close to the service area), which should definitely be avoided when booking!
