Since 1994, when a power outage forced them to celebrate the real Noche Vieja on December 31, by lighting candles, the inhabitants of this small village in the Alpujarra decided to celebrate it in August. As a result, more than 10,000 people come every year to eat the grapes and watch the Three Kings cavalcade.
