Some villages in the province of Granada celebrate the clashes between Moors and Christians, but in a simpler way than in the Valencian Community, even if the outline of the story remains the same. The one in Benamaurel takes place during the Virgen de la Cabeza celebrations, which are very popular in the Altiplano region. On occasion, we will attend parades of moros and cristianos, superbly dressed in the Levantine style. With of course the scripting of the battles, the last one won by Christians. The celebration ends with a floral offering to the Virgin.
