Monastery housing a voluminous abbey of the Holy Mountain with a museum of Granada Art
High above the splendid Darro valley, the voluminous abbey of "the sacred mountain", built in the early 17thcentury (following the discovery of the supposed remains of San Cecilio and other early Christian martyrs in a nearby cave), houses a museum of Granada art: paintings, manuscripts, documents. We recommend a visit even if you don't speak Spanish, as the documents and spaces on display are very interesting and the view of Granada superb.

Le bâtiment est en cours de rénovation (il y a eu un incendie il y a une vingtaine d'années). Il est très beau, son histoire est grande et bien expliqué sur l'audioguide a télécharger sur smartphone (si vous préférez, les explications silencieuses, le texte est aussi ecrit).
