CARMEN DE LOS MÁRTIRES
Very nice and romantic palace with beautiful views of the city, the mountains and the plain
Located on Sabika, the hill of the Alhambra, it is more a beautiful 19th century palace than a classic carmen (house-garden of Arab origin) of Granada. It owes its name to the fact that it was built on the campo de los mártires, which according to legend was used as a place of captivity for Christian martyrs. Besides the pleasure of walking in a very romantic place, one will appreciate the beautiful views of the city, the mountains and the plain. It's no surprise that it has become a popular wedding setting.
