Jewish neighborhood in the Nasrid period with a beautiful viewpoint, an old wash house and an old hospital.
In the Nasrid period, it was the Jewish quarter. Few vestiges remain since the reconquest of the district. It takes its name from the royalty or realeza, who appropriated these lands at the beginning of the 16th century. The Calle Molinos or street of the water mills, which once ran alongside the main canal, is very characteristic, as are the groups of large Andalusian houses or villas with gardens opening onto the streets, known as the Cármenes. A beautiful viewpoint, the Puerta del Sol square, which preserves an old washhouse and a former military hospital that became an architecture faculty.
