Charming apartments overlooking Manhattan, in a vintage hotel, served by subways, in New York City.
A vintage hotel that perfectly captures the atmosphere of Greenpoint. The apartments are decorated with great care, in keeping with the beautiful artists' lofts to be found in the area. On the downside, the hotel is only served by two metro lines. Allow around 20 minutes to get to Times Square.

Beautiful hotel with lots of character. Clean and spacious, which is shocking for New York! Still pricey by normal city standards but it was way cheaper than anything comparable we found in New York for that weekend. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room had cool art, lots of light, and was spotless. The 7 was down for the weekend so it was a little bit less convenient than expected getting in and out of Manhattan, but still not bad, and normally it would be super easy. Greenpoint is a cute, fun neighborhood with everything you need.

Very cool hotel in a quiet enclave within Brooklyn. Quirky design, fantastic, attentive desk staff who personalize your experience and make you feel special. The bed was too soft for my taste. The room was clean and spacious. This is my second time staying here for business travel.

Comfortable, inviting hotel with great service. This is my second stay and I will always choose The Box Hotel when visiting Brooklyn and midtown Manhattan. Free and safe on street parking is a definite bonus!
