A superb stay in a historic hotel in the heart of the Village in New York City.

A delight that this hotel, which brings together two cute little houses from 1841 in the heart of the Village. There are 13 spacious rooms (a luxury in New York), each with its own decoration and soul. Some of them, small studios, have their own bathroom and a small kitchen with very nice dishes. The furniture in the rooms and lounge is 1930s style, as is the Steinway piano. Everything is done to ensure that you have a stay full of peace and privacy. Book a good month in advance.

Location, location, location. You can’t get much better than this location and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay in the Washington suite just before Christmas. Absolutely loved the area and would return. The quirkiness of the hotel was reminiscent of an arts and crafts style house I inhabited in my 20’s. We would return. Easy access to transportation and very safe neighborhood even during early morning and night.
