You have to start with the lobby, which combines all these trendy criteria: dark and subdued light, design decor, beautiful people and computers galore. You don't have to be a client to visit the Ace Hotel, which also has a bar and a restaurant (the Breslin). Another catch, we booked through a 3rd party and got charged by the hotel about $40 per night destination fee, which they never sent a bill and I had to call to find out. This is what is called hidden fees! If I know there is another charge on top of what we have already paid, I would not stay here.
