ACE HOTEL
Trendy hotel with 260 rooms for all profiles, from the smallest with bunk beds to the most classy and cosy space.
The Ace Hotel has not been empty since its opening. Here, everything is thought trendy, and the result is rather successful. You have to start with the lobby, which combines all these trendy criteria: dark and subdued light, design decor, beautiful people and computers galore. You don't have to be a client to visit the Ace Hotel, which also has a bar and a restaurant (the Breslin). As for accommodation, the hotel offers 260 rooms for all profiles: from the small room with bunk beds (the cheapest) to the resolutely classy and cosy space.

The problems me and my colleagues have experienced:
No desk in some rooms
Cleanliness (dusts everywhere)
Bedding (it looks cool, but not comfortable at all)
Shower (challenging to use hot water)
Ventilation (not good)
Front desk (the services extremely varies)
Laundry service (front desk refused to pick up and let me bring it to the desk. And let me put it into a plastic bag and leave it on the floor all by myself, saying the staff was too busy)
Noise from the hallway
The location was perfect, by the way.
Really specific negatives:
-Way too much welcoming room perfume sprayed when we checked in. Had to open windows solid 2 hours to get it out of our eyes.
-Shower is bigger for NYC, but the spout juts out directly in the middle so not great for bigger folk.
