Rooms with beautiful views in a hotel with restaurant and bar within walking distance of the World Trade Center.

A modern hotel located a few steps from the World Trade Center. The cheapest rooms are quite small but comfortable, with a desk and a television. The plunging view from some rooms - especially the most beautiful ones with a terrace - to Ground Zero Memorial and the World Trade Center is worth a visit. If you don't have a room with a view, you can enjoy the panoramic view of southern Manhattan from the spacious terrace of the restaurant and hotel bar. The neighbourhood, sometimes noisy during the day, is rather quiet in the evening.

We were in New York for the first time and had no idea about parking rules. We rented a car at the airport and went to the hotel. When I got there, I asked the receptionist about parking for the hotel, and she referred us to long-term parking without explaining the rules. We paid $280 for 5 days of parking but didn't know that we couldn't exit the car from parking each day or whenever we wanted. When we went to pick up the car, they informed us that exiting the car from parking would terminate the parking contract. We returned to the hotel to seek clarification, but the receptionist, a young girl, was very rude and insisted we should have asked her for the rules beforehand. I'm unsure of what questions to ask in such situations, as I'm completely unfamiliar with the parking rules. She didn't accept any responsibility, and the parking facility refused to refund our money. We had a very bad customer service experience at this hotel. They should have explained the rules to us, considering we were guests and newcomers."
