It's hard to be precise about the timetables and fares of Viazul, the bus company created for tourists but also used by Cubans. In any case, you'll need to go to the bus station (recently refurbished, with a snack area) to buy your tickets in advance, ideally 1 or 2 days before your actual departure. You'll be asked for your passport and a credit card to pay for your ticket in euros only. The buses are comfortable!

This bus company is very convenient to move in Cuba, I could make all my tour with its buses:
Havana/vinales, vinales/Cienfuegos, Cienfuegos/Trinidad, Trinidad/Camaguey, Camaguey/santa will clara, santa clara/varadero varadero/Havana, and this at very attractive prices and with an impeccable service. No problem with arrival and departure times respected, luggage in compartment and secure, buses, comfortable and clean (no overbooking). You can get an idea of the courses on its website which is reliable.

Nous avons pris des billets Viazul en ligne, que nous avons finalement souhaité annuler plus de 72h à l'avance contre remboursement, comme indiqué dans leurs conditions d'achat. Étonnamment, les employés de la compagnie à la Havane nous ont demandé de voir cela à notre arrivée à Viñales, puis, à Viñales, l'employé nous a dit ne pas être en mesure d'annuler nos billets, pour des raisons plus que douteuses. Nous nous sommes donc débrouillés tant bien que mal pour faire annuler nos billet en ligne, toujours 72h à l'avance. Quelle ne fut pas notre suprise lorsque, cerise sur le gateau, la compagnie nous a répondu par mail que notre demande n'avait pas pu être traitée dans les 72h, donc que nous ne pourrions être remboursés que sommairement.
La fiabilité douteuse des employés et la lenteur d'une entreprise à considérer et valider une demande n’est pas de la responsabilité du client, mais de la sienne.
Préférez les taxis collectifs, moins chers et plus fiables.
