Along with the Hotel Bristol (whose rooftop pool stretches out in front of the capitol dome), the Telegrafo Hotel reopened in 2022! The historic building (inaugurated in 1860, the city's first hotel!) with its recognizable blue façade overlooking the Parque Central, just off the Prado, welcomed its first guests in spring 2022. A predominantly gay clientele (a small revolution within the revolution!), given that this is the target audience of the Axel Hotels chain, which already owns a dozen gay-friendly luxury hotels around the world!
