Set in the house of a captain of the French Army in the th century, this hotel has been remarkably well modernised and its historical charm is intact. The rooms are very comfortable and high prices are justified. For the little story, if the hotel's name refers to the frailes, or to the monks, it is because the captain included among his friends many monks and that he hosted them regularly during their passage to Havana.

hôtel atypique par excellence,ancien couvent (de nombreux touristes viennent prendre la photo du hall d’accueil) pour le folklore les employés sont habillés en moine.points négatifs: certaines chambres ne possèdent pas de fenêtres et le petit déjeuné se prend juste à coté au bistro du coin dans un joli patio....
