Founded in the 17th century, the seminary was only dedicated to St. Ambrose. It was in homage to King Charles III that St. Charles was added. Work of the Jesuits, the building dates from the middle of the 18th century. Seat of the royal college of Saint Charles, opened in the middle of the 18th century, it then underwent various restorations: the facade, then reworked, harmonizes with the style of the cathedral. You will admire the two portals, one of which opens onto San Ignacio Street and the other onto Telmo Street.
