CASTILLO DE LA CHORRERA
Located at the western end of the Malecón, at the mouth of the Almendares River, this tower was integrated in 1646 into the defensive complex of Havana, to complete the bastion of Cojímar, east of the city, and to defend the access to the bay at a distance. In 1982, Unesco classified them as a world heritage site. The tower now houses a tavern with a Spanish culinary tradition(tapas and Spanish wines), offering evening shows, where singing tricks and Afro-Cuban dances alternate. You can also go to the very cozy bar, upstairs.
