Completed around 1775, on a plot of land that belonged to Sebastian Peñalver, this house was bought by Don Antonio Ponce de León, the Marquis of Aguas Claras, who completed the construction. A few owners later, at the beginning of the 20th century, the palace became the Café de Paris, then the headquarters of the Bank of Industry, and, after a restoration in the 1960s, the restaurant El Patio. Note the large arches that support the vast portal and the wrought iron veranda.
