MUSEUM OF GOLDSMITHING
The Museum of Goldsmithing (Museo de la Orfebrería) is housed in a splendid colonial house dating from 1707, once the workshop of the goldsmith Gregorio Tabares. Exhibited on two floors, a collection of precious and finely chiseled objects will give a glimpse of a Cuba of the past. Jewelry, clocks, coins minted in Havana, ornaments for weapons, religious objects... A journey through time, between the 19th and the first quarter of the 20th century. The museum also houses the headquarters of the Congregation of Cuban Goldsmiths.
