The Post Bus offices, located on Kampala Road, are open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays (reduced hours on Saturdays and closed on Sundays). Departures to Kabale at 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. (27,000 Ush, 9.5 hours' journey), to Gulu at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. (25,000 Ush, 6 hours' journey) and to Kitgum at 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. (35,000 Ush, 9 hours' journey). If you are travelling to Kigezi (Kabale, Kisoro), via Mbarara, please note that buses do not leave from the central post office, but from the Kasenyi Bus Terminal (payment can be made to the attendant).
