In the heart of the city, the New and Old Taxi Parks are the two main minibus(taxi) stations in Kampala. The Kampala Capital City Authority is renovating the Old Taxi Park in 2020-2021. The minibuses are now supposed to have a number (corresponding to a well-defined route) and the destination served. There are no fixed departure times here: the vehicles leave when all seats are occupied. Note that minibuses serving Entebbe now depart from Usafi Taxi Park (Mengo Hill Road).
