THE EXPLORER - THE LAKES - THE PEARL OF AFRICA
A good opportunity to take a tour in the most luxurious hotel in the city, former Nile Hotel in Amin Dada, is to test one of its three restaurants (all enough expensive). The Explorer, the flat decoration evoking the trip (malles, mappemeral, globe…) and European explorers who traveled through the Great Lakes region (Speke, Grant…) offers a map where lovers of Italian cuisine will be delighted (pasta, pizzas); the drink card is consistent. The Lakes, where musicians sometimes brighten up the room, offer some local specialties such as tilapia or Ugandan beef stew in addition to salads and grills. On the first floor, Pearl of Africa offers some French dishes. The Champagne bar (which offers the sparkling wines that you guess…) and on the ground floor, the Mist (eye to the film Gorillas in the mist) are two nice bars to sip a drink…

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!
*Room needs a lot of renovation, very old furniture.
*The pictures shows a bidet in toilet, but this is not true.
*Food in breakfast is so limited and repetitive, after few days you will be bored, also not tasty.
*pastries and bakeries are ????????
*The noise at night is unbearable
*House keeping will keep the balcony open a lot, insects and reptile will surely enter your room, specially if your room is close to trees and lake.
*House keeping will enter your room casually when you are in it! without putting the "make my room" sign!
THEY NEVER APOLOGISE FOR THEIR MISTAKES!
I will never come here again and will never recommend it to anyone.
