At the Ethiopian Village, which has been open for some twenty years, you can eat in the courtyard or under a hut-style straw hut. We recommend the Village Special assortment to get a broad idea of Ethiopian cuisine... and to stop eating for at least 24 hours! Unfortunately, this restaurant was one of the two sites in Kampala hit by the terrorist attack perpetrated by Somali Islamists Shebab in July 2010, during the broadcast of the soccer World Cup final.
