2K may not be the K2 of Ugandan cuisine, but it is still a nice place with a local atmosphere. A sort of island of quietude in the middle of Old Kampala's hustle and bustle, this restaurant is like a kind of Ugandan fast-food restaurant: you order your dish at the counter and then, having paid and received your ticket, you wait for your food at one of the tables that line the small room. Then comes the time to taste the luwombo or the special goat pilau. Friendly welcome. Second address on Hoima Road.
