The former Nile Hotel was taken over by the Aga Khan Group and reopened in 2006 after a formidable restoration that cost tens of millions of US dollars. The result is spectacular and the hotel, nestled in a lush garden, is one of the most luxurious in the country. The rooms are a marvel of comfort and the service is impeccable. The hotel has several bars and restaurants. There is also a beautiful souvenir shop, an oriental spa, a gym and, above all, a fabulous swimming pool.
