In the La Bonita Theatre, plays by Thomas Bernhard and Bertolt Brecht are not in the repertoire. Here, it is the works of the Ebonies that are staged. This zany company has been burning up the stage in Kampala for almost 45 years. You can go to the comfortable (and often crowded) room of La Bonita to discover the play of each of the actors of the company. It is possible to eat in situ. You can get a taste of the Ebonies' theatrical genre by visiting Ebowood, a website launched in 2020.
