The Uganda National Cultural Centre has been open since 1959. Spectators can watch films, plays and contemporary dance on the premises of the cultural center. Music lovers won't want to miss the regularly scheduledjam sessions. Salsa classes and African dance lessons are also organized in the dance studio. Conferences, workshops, exhibitions and poetry recitals are also organized, as well as an opening onto contemporary Ugandan performing arts.
